Contour lines and points
The contour lines are originated from films of the AMS and DMA map sheets but aerial photographs and SPOT-5 satellite images were used when the coastline along urban areas was updated. The contour lines mostly contain lines with 20m and 100m interval, but in some places there are 10m or 5m contour lines. Glaciers have lines that only indicate the form or the steepness of the glacier and the height value is unknown, indicated as 29999. The contour lines can be classified after its situation, whether they are on a glacier or on land.
Elevation points were digitized according to AMS and DMA map sheets. There are around 11,400 points in the layer, thereof almost 2,900 points with names of mountains attached.
